Taylor Blues and Spanish Macks

Hey all...my first time posting here...I have been fishing the LIP and SB since I was a youngin...I don't see many people post on here but I figured I could post some stuff every now and then. I was chest deep in the surf on thursday evening right next to the state park border. I caught a good 15 Blues and lucked out on about a 2 pounder Spanish Mack. I was using an 1oz silver spoon for about an hour then switched to a gold spoon in which I had a bit more luck and hooked up on the Mack. There is tons of bait fish movin through...mainly silversides but I seen a nice size pod of fatback (or bunkers as the yankees call them lol) so its definently bringing the spanish macks in closer to the surf. After the sun set I set my surf rod up with a bottom rig using eagle claw 2/0 snell hooks and a 2oz teardrop sinker.. cut a couple strips of squid up hoping to lure a nice doormap but no luck just hooked up on a couple small croaker. Left around 10 when the horse flies were startin to get hungry. Ill definently be out there next wendsday or thursday evening so if you see a guy waiding neck deep south of the LIP by the park border that would be me! Cyall later and happy fishing!
